A recent post from a forum on Terraria’s official forums, announcing a beta release for Terraria: Terraria Legends, has left many users wondering what exactly is going on.
The post by the developer of the game, Yost, mentioned that they had just released a new update to Terraria 1.7.1.
It included an update to the game’s servers, which is what’s known as a “hotfix” in the game.
According to the post, the update fixed “multiple issues” that have been plaguing the game and caused some servers to crash.
Some users have also reported that the game appears to be crashing when the player goes into a “combat zone” or is in a “fleeing area”.
In other words, it seems the server issues are related to the update.
A forum post from Yost has since been deleted, but the original thread is still available.
In the post he wrote:The update, which also introduced the ability to customize the appearance of a player, was first published on March 3, 2017.
Terraria 1-7.0 will arrive on March 14, 2017, but if you want to get your hands on the latest update before then, you can grab it from the Steam Store for £3.99.
