Tallahasport, FL—Mike Tyson is facing a felony charge of second degree manslaughter for the death of a 20-year-old man he allegedly struck with a closed fist during a fight.
A court-appointed attorney for Tyson told the Tallahassean newspaper, the News Sentinel, that Tyson is being represented by a lawyer who specializes in civil rights matters.
The newspaper reported the charges were filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Miami.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement declined to comment to Newsweek on the charges.
