The 2018 Stanley Cup Final is in the books.
That means the Stanley Cups will be awarded to the winners of the five teams that went to the Finals.
The first-place finishers will be able to select one of the two wild card spots, while the runner-ups will be eliminated and the third-place team will go home.
The winner of the NHL’s Eastern Conference Final will face off against the winner of next year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The winner will host the NHL Stanley Cup final in 2020.
The other two conferences have their own matchups.
The NHL Playoffs will feature three playoff teams from each conference battling it out in a best-of-five series.
The Western Conference Final features the winner facing off against a team from the Western Conference.
The two Western Conference finalists will face each other in the second round of the Stanley Warped Tour.
The Western Conference Finals will feature the two Western conference finalists facing each other.
If the Stanley Final is held again, the Stanley Trophy will be handed out to the winner with a tiebreaker being played out between the two teams from the Eastern Conference Finals.
